Overwatch 2 Venture trial release date
The newest addition to the Overwatch 2 roster, Venture, will be playable between March 28 and March 31. Ahead of the Overwatch 2 Venture trial launch date, Blizzard posted a video to officially introduce the character.
Overwatch 2 Venture abilities
- Burrow (Ability): Move underground and become invulnerable. Emerge to deal damage.
- Drill Dash (Ability): Dash forward, pushing enemies back.
- Tectonic Shock (Ultimate): Send out damaging shockwaves.
- Smart Excavator (Weapon): Launch a seismic charge that bursts after a short distance.
- Explorer's Resolve (Passive): Using abilities grants temporary shields.
- Clobber (Passive): Quick melee deals more damage.
Blizzard also revealed Venture's official kit. While their weapon is Smart Excavator, their passives include Explorer's Resolve and Clobber. Meanwhile, Venture's abilities are Burrow and Drill Dash. Their ultimate is Tectonic Shock.
Overwatch 2 Venture trailer and gameplay
In Venture's first trailer, they can be seen executing these moves in various maps. For example, Venture shows off their Burrow ability right before encountering Mauga. Next, they charge forward with Drill Dash! Smart Excavator then launches a projectile to take out the tank hero. After a battle montage, Venture uses their Tectonic Shock ultimate against Moira, Sombra, and Zenyatta.
Overwatch 2 Venture release date
According to the trailer, Venture will arrive in Overwatch 2 Season 10. This will kick off on April 16.
