They took down various teams along the way, which earned them the gold, the bulk of the prize pool, plus qualification to the Calling All Heroes 2025 Challengers Series Championship.

Avidity at Calling All Heroes Spring Finals 2025
This Overwatch 2 esports circuit kicked off its regular season in May with teams competing for a spot in the playoffs and a chance to qualify for coveted spots in the Calling All Heroes Championship 2025. In the end, Avidity, ExO: Sakura, and DhillDucks secured their place in the championship after finishing in the top three of the Calling All Heroes Spring Finals 2025 tournament.
When it came down to the grand finals against ExO: Sakura, Avidity swept the latter 3-0 thanks to victories on Ilios, New Junk City, and Runasapi. The recent Overwatch 2 hero bans system added another layer of strategy to the matches as well. Bans included Kiriko and Freya in Ilios, Tracer and Hazard in New Junk City, plus Juno and Cassidy in Runasapi.

Avidity Scuffed talks Overwatch 2 esports and Calling All Heroes
After winning their first major in nearly a year, Avidity support player Scuffed shared how much the victory meant to them, especially with plans to potentially step back and focus on school. They also went into the challenges of playing with a broken mic and coordinating a high-pressure series with limited practice.
"I'm happy I finally got a CAH Major win under my belt," Scuffed said in the post-match interview with Twinsalty and TinyShiny. "[I] spent like a full year competing in here, and I haven't won a major yet, so that feels really nice. I was really gunning to win this one because I don't know if I'll play in another CAH. I might start focusing on school and stuff, I might not have time for it, so I wanted to put my all into this one. I'm happy we won."

Scuffed then acknowledged ExO: Sakura for pushing their team to adapt mid-series and even question compositions in the middle of matches. Despite all of these challenges, Avidity's late-night grind helped them all gel well together and make everything worth it.
"It means everything in Overwatch to me right now," Scuffed added, referring to the Calling All Heroes circuit. "It's definitely the community I'm most attached to. It's the reason I wanted to come back when I saw it playing in the first place. This community means a lot. It means a lot when I get to play against my friends in brackets. It's what inspires me to keep on playing, to be honest. I think Calling All Heroes is pretty much everything. I mean, there's not many other games like this. This was really a frontrunner in this type of field, and it's really badass, honestly."
To them, Calling All Heroes has a place in history and means a lot to Overwatch 2 players.
