Nvidia has finally announced the lineup of RTX 50 series GPUs at CES 2025, and it includes four new cards that are hitting the market soon.
After over a year of anticipation, Nvidia has finally unveiled the initial lineup of the RTX 50 series GPUs. The announcement came during Nvidia's keynote address at the CES 2025 conference.
The full pricing and release window were showcased for the four new Blackwell generation GPUs. The generation is beginning with the RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070. The specifications for these cards were revealed, and it's safe to say that Nvidia has certainly reset the industry yet again.
Below, you can see the full lineup of Nvidia RTX 50 series GPUs along with their prices and release date.

The RTX 50 series GPUs will be available starting in January. An exact release date was not given, but we can expect the cards to be available near the end of the month.
The full lineup of the RTX 50 series and their prices are as follows:
GPU Price | RTX 5090 $1,999 | RTX 5080 $999 | RTX 5070 Ti $749 | RTX 5070 $549 |
Obviously, these prices are the Founder's Editions lineup of cards and don't include third-party pricing. You can expect third-party GPUs to reach $100 to $500 more than their Founder's Edition counterparts. Third-party cards generally have additional cooling, RGB lighting, more memory, and faster speeds to compensate for the higher pricing.
However, just going off of the initial pricing, this seems like a huge step in the right direction for Nvidia. The RTX 5070, for example, is claimed to have the same performance as the RTX 4090, the former flagship GPU for Nvidia, but for nearly $1,000 less. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated the lower pricing of the RTX 50 series is all thanks to new AI technology.
The new flagship RTX 5090 is, of course, costly at $1,999, but the RTX 5080 being $1,000 less is certainly a welcome sight. There are now more mid-range options in terms of price compared to the RTX 40 series, which retailed for a couple of hundred dollars more on average at launch.
Nvidia did not release individual specifications for all of these GPUs, but we do have a general set of specifications:
- RTX 5090 - 3,400 AI TOPS
- RTX 5080 - 1,800 AI TOPS
- RTX 5070 Ti - 1,400 AI TOPS
- RTX 5070 - 1,000 AI TOPS
More details on each card's memory and speeds will come at a later date. You can also expect more information on third-party cards in the coming weeks.
