Christian McCaffrey’s charity Logan Bowl returns for second year

The second-annual Logan Bowl goes down on Friday, May 3, 2024

The Christian McCaffrey Foundation is hosting its second annual “Logan Bowl” - a bracket-style Madden tournament that aims to raise money for The Logan Project.

What is the Logan Project?

Christian McCaffrey established the Logan Project in the memory of Logan Hale. Before losing his battle with cancer, Logan was a huge fan of Christian McCaffrey and the Carolina Panthers.

The project aims to fund hospitals for the ability to have game consoles available in their children’s wards. This aims to make the experience of being in the hospital easier for young people.

Christian McCaffrey said: “Last year, a bunch of my NFL friends joined me for the first-ever Logan Bowl, and together we were able to raise more than $150,000 and provide gaming consoles to children's hospitals across the country,

“I’m excited to announce that we'll be doing it again this year, with new players and guests, and I'm confident that we can create an even bigger impact in honor of Logan Hale.”

Last year’s Logan Bowl raised more than $ 150,000 USD for hospitals around the United States, providing gaming consoles to hospitals in six cities spanning the entire country.

The impact of the Logan Bowl

All NFL players involved will receive the launch of The Logan Project at a children’s hospital in their town. The winner of the event will not only receive bragging rights but also The Logan Bowl trophy. It's a gold-plated remote that will travel to the community of the winner of The Logan Bowl.

The winner of the inaugural Logan Bowl in June 2023 was San Francisco 49ers’ linebacker, Fred Warner. The Logan Bowl is one of many efforts from the foundation to expand upon its effort to place specialized gaming consoles in children’s hospitals around the nation, supporting children undergoing treatment.
