Ein has been announced as a new upcoming SSR NIKKE. Ein was a highly popular NPC character in the School of Lock Event back in October.
Ein has finally escaped NPC jail to be announced as a new upcoming NIKKE in Goddess of Victory: Nikke.
The news was shared on the official Twitter account which also mentioned that Pick Up recruitment will be simultaneous with Ein's arrival. Ein will be an SSR Nikke coming to Goddess of Victory: Nikke on July 25.

Ein is an Attacker unit who uses Near Fathers to deal True Damage. The frequency of her attacks will depend on the number of Near Feathers. With her Burst Skill she can summon a large number of Near Feathers to deal explosive damage.

When is Ein's release date in NIKKE?
The release date for the new SSR NIKKE Ein is July 25, 2024. Ein will arrive as part of a new update that includes a new event called Friends as Close As a Tied Ribbon.
Ein's special Recruit Duration will last from July 25 to August 8, 2024.

Ein is an NPC that appeared in an Event Story: School of Lock, which was a character story for Rei. She appeared alongside another character called Zwei, both of whom are students at the M.M.R Vocational school. In the story, Ein is a classmate of Rei and consoles her after she got a stern talking to from the protagonist.
In terms of her appearance, Ein's rather scruffy appearance matches her casual attitude towards her studies. Ein would much rather skip class.
School of Lock was a very well received event in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, as players got to learn more about Marciana's role as a teacher and the student life of Rei alongside the two NPC characters Ein and Zwei.
Will NIKKE fans show support with their wallets?
The timing of Ein's announcement is not ideal, even if she is an SSR NIKKE. While Ein was a popular NPC, she is also potentially coming out around the same time as Anis: Sparkling Summer. Not to mention NIKKE fans may still be trying to get max Limit Breaks for Rosanna: Chic Ocean and Sakura: Bloom in Summer.
Fortunately, Ein is a standard unit not a limited NIKKE, so for many fans Ein will potentially be an easy skip until the end of the entire Summer Event. That said, Ein is finally free from NPC jail.
