When does the SpongeBob Season start in Brawl Stars?

The SpongeBob Brawl Stars Season starts on September 5, 2024, and continues till October 2. If you get the SpongeBob skins in the store, they remain with you for all future matches.

What's included in Brawl Star SpongeBob?

The SpongeBob characters start a big party in Brawl Stars, and the variety of items this new event brings to the game is pretty impressive.

SpongeBob skins in Brawl Stars

Get the Squidward Mortis Brawl Stars Epic skin from Brawl Pass. Some other variants are available with Brawl Pass Plus: Chroma skins Pink and Blue Squidward Mortis.

The Mythic skin SpongeBob El Primo is available for free. You need to collect Krusty Kash, a special in-game currency, with your Club to unlock it.

Some other Epic and Super Rare SpongeBob Brawl Stars skins are available in The Krusty Krab, a new in-game shop/restaurant.

Brawl Star characters can use seven types of special SpongeBob power-ups. The type of these items depends on the brawler class.

What do Brawl Stars SpongeBob power-ups do?

Each power-up in the SpongeBob Brawl Stars Season has three levels of upgrades. The items change their name, view, and effect. In general, you get a bonus to the basic effect after increasing the level.

How to unlock SpongeBob skins in Brawl Stars

You can unlock some skins in the Brawl Stars SpongeBob Season for free.

  • SpongeBob El Primo — Earn Krusty Kash with your Club in the game and spend this currency for the SpongeBob El Primo skin.
  • Squidward Mortis — Complete the missions of the Brawl Pass and unlock Squidward Mortis for free.

The Pink and Blue color variations of Squidward Mortis are available only via the Brawl Pass Plus.

All of the other skins in the SpongBob event are in the Krusty Krab shop. Usually, Brawl Star skins cost 79 Gems for Super Rare and 169 for Epic. The cost of SpongeBob skins may be different, though. The game sells 950 Gems for $59.99 and 360 Gems for $23.99.

How to get SpongeBob power-ups

All of the Brawl Stars SpongeBob power-ups are included in Power Meals from a new restaurant by Mr. Krabs. Go to the Star Park, visit the restaurant there, buy a Power Meal, and get one guaranteed power-up from each purchase. You need to spend Krusry Kash, a special currency of the SpongeBob event, to buy Power Meals.

New Brawl Star game modes

The SpongeBob event features two new game modes in Brawl Stars. 

  • Jellyfishing: Teams must capture the most jellyfish to win. To capture one, you need to hold it for five seconds and not be taken down.
  • Trio Showdown: Teams of three participate in battles on the Showdown Arena. The last-standing team wins.

New Brawl Star brawlers

The Brawl Star gets two new brawlers. However, these characters are not connected to the SpongeBob Squarepants series.

  • Moe: A damage dealer Mythic character 
  • Kenji: An Assassin and Legendary character
