The Mythic Damage Dealer is not as straightforward as many other brawlers of this category. To be effective with Najia, you should control her movement well and understand the nature of your Brawl Stars opponents.
Najia is a very strong brawler, especially in a cleverly-built team. Her venomous attacks are somewhat similar to the kit of Crow, but Najia also covers other important aspects of Brawl Stars battles such as chasing opponents and finding them in bushes.
The character receive buffs even before her release, but Najia is unlikely a broken brawler. She has only one shot of a normal attack, and the reload speed is just usual. To avoid being destroyed by close-range hits and damaging long-range projectiles, you should keep a distance and move over the map continuously.
Najia, a puzzle creator for Finx
As it was released back during the February Brawl Talk program, the character is connected to Finx, another Sands of Time brawler. Najia is a mastermind of Finx’s puzzles — she traps other Brawl Stars characters.
An awesome animation reveals even more of Najia’s backstory. She rescues Colt from a pyramid, and we take a look at how Najia became a puzzle creator below.
How to play Naija in Brawl Stars: Guide
The brawler has one long-reaching projectile with a poisonous effect. It’s not very quick, but it can change direction to chase an opponent. The poison is strong, and victims lose health quickly. However, Najia has a rather slow reload time. She must also retreat to avoid direct combat.
Naija’s Super is very helpful for all Brawl Stars modes. The snakes follow opponents in bushes, reveal their hideouts, and poison them. As being silent in bushes is a common strategy, Naija gives her team the upper hand in such situations.
- Basic attack, Ssssnake Delivery: Najia’s single projectile is a jar with a snake. If the jar hits, it deals damage. You need to shoot accurately for this. The snake poisons to deal damage over time. It can jump from the jar and attack those who try to escape.
- Super, Danger Noodles: Three snakes appear on the map to slither around, look for victims, and poison them.
An important strategy for Najia is to move back after each shot. She needs space to reload safely. Mastering this and similar movement tricks will help you stack poison damage and really annoy opponents.

The best build for Najia in Brawl Stars
Playing Najis is risky due to her slow reload and limited ammo. To succeed, you need to increase the poison damage. Here is the best Brawl Stars Najia build for this.
- Gadget 2, Najua Jar: It’s an effective defensive tool, as the brawler can hide from approaching opponents in a jar, and when they crack it, Najia poisons them while also knocking them back to create some space.
- Star Power 2, VENOMOUS: The poison damage is higher for healthy opponents. This improves the first-strike effect for Najia.

In fact, Najia has other good options, and you can go for them. They have drawbacks, however. Gadget 1, Toxic Top-Up allows Najia to reset the duration of already applied poison, so the damage lasts longer. It requires extra attention to when and who you hit with the snakes, which is a layer of complexity. Star Power 1, Poisonous Protector turns those defeated by poison into a snake. This is a really helpful option, but not all of Najia’s victims become KO’d from poison. The effectiveness decreases in a real match.
For Gears, it’s a good idea to add extra health or protection (Shield) to Najia. Speed is also a decent option, as you need it to escape post-poison clashes.
