The biggest-ever SEA Cup is headed to a new city.

The MLBB SEA Cup 2023 will happen from June 10 to 18. The tournament will return as a LAN event to Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh. This year’s tournament is set to be bigger than ever with teams from around the world instead of just within Southeast Asia.

Twelve of the best MLBB esports teams will lock horns for the title of champions and a share of the prize pool. This figure hasn’t been revealed yet, however. Here’s everything you need to know about the MLBB SEA Cup 2023.

MLBB SEA Cup to be hosted in association with the Esports Federation Cambodia (EFC)

MOONTON will host the tournament in association with the Esports Federation Cambodia (EFC), which is recognized by the country’s government. The two entities have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) which also extends to the upcoming 32nd SEA Games, where esports will be featured as a medal event for the second time.

"I am pleased that the Esports Federation Cambodia and MOONTON Games jointly organized the signing ceremony of the MoU to establish a new partnership in organizing the MSC 2023 for the first time in Phnom Penh. The signing is part of a joint effort to develop the local esports industry and create more events in the country for athletes. The opportunity to host this major international event is a testament to the development of the Kingdom of Cambodia in general and in the field of esports.
