EFG, Supercell, and the Brawl Stars Championship
This partnership will build on EFG and Supercell's ongoing relationship as well. Last year, Brawl Stars was featured in the first-ever SPS Mobile Masters event. The finals boasted a $200,000 USD prize pool and were hosted at DreamHack Japan.
Fast forward to this year, Brawl Stars Championship 2024 circuit will feature up to $2 million USD in prizes. There will also be a crowdfunding opportunity in the Brawl Stars World Finals this year. Leading up for this tournament, players from across five regions will duke it out for some coveted spots.
“Brawl Stars has been a catalyst for the growth of the Snapdragon Pro Series since Day 1, as has our work with Supercell across other titles such as Clash of Clans,” Sam Braithwaite, the vice president of game ecosystems for mobile at EFG, said. “Our fundamental knowledge of the Brawl Stars esports ecosystem and years of experience operating mobile leagues at a global scale position us to make the Brawl Stars Championship 2024 the best one yet.”
Meanwhile, Supercell's Brawl Stars esports head Kim Jensen noted that the SPS series has proven itself to be a top-tier circuit for mobile esports thanks to its global reach and production value. "We look forward to working with the EFG team to reach new audiences and solidify Brawl Stars as a leading mobile esport," Jensen added.
