Mighty monsters are waiting for you in the new MOBA game mode. Your friendly brawlers can also play the role of Kaijus thanks to the new Brawl Pass and seasonal skins.

Brawl Stars has been treating players to absolutely epic seasons recently, and June 2025 continues this awesome trend. After the exciting chapters of the Battle for Katana Kingdom, we continues to draw inspiration from Japanese culture for a little while longer.

The game introduces Kaijus to battle against in Brawl Arena. Also, why not bring these monsters to all the other Brawl Stars modes as brawler skins?

Everything about the Crush the Kaiju season is here.

Crush the Kaiju: What’s in the new Brawl Pass?

The first day of this new Brawl Stars season is June 1. If you’ve reached the max tier of the Battle for Katana Kingdom and unlocked Kasa-obake Piper, it’s time to start a similar adventure again — with different but still great rewards.

The Crush the Kaiju Brawl Pass season traditionally includes lots of valuable in-game resources: Gems to purchase cosmetics in the shop, Coins and Power Points to level up your brawlers, and Credits to unlock new characters for free. Pins, sprays, stickers, and Starr Drops are also here!

If you want to receive the most Crush the Kaiju rewards, buy the Brawl Pass Premium tiers. The main item here is a Kaiju-themed skin for Edgar.

  • Shin Edgar — Originally, he is an emo boy, but for this Brawl Stars new season, Edgar turns into a mix of Kaiju and superhero. Perhaps destroying or saving the world depends on the mood of Edgar and the players.

To unlock Shin Edgar, you need to reach tier 50 of the Premium Crush the Kaiju Brawl Pass.

Pay for Brawl Pass Premium Plus, and you will be able to unlock two Chroma variants of Edgar Kaiju.

  • Drift Edgar and Masked Edgar differ by color patterns.

Kaiju extravaganza: Seasonal skins in Brawl Stars

In addition to Edgar, some other Brawl Stars characters are eager to take on the role of mighty Kaijus. They’ve received seasonal skins, which are available via the in-game shop.

  • Monstro Mico
  • Intergalactic Griff
  • Tokusatsu Colette
  • Kaiju Clancy

One of the newest characters, Brawl Stars Finx, gets special treatment during Crush the Kaiju. The Anubis-inspired character receives a seasonal skin with two Chroma variants.

  • Mecha Finx, the base skin
  • Crimson Tyfinx and Mecha Chief Finx, Chromas #1 and #2

The Brawl Stars Shop refreshes the Crush the Kaiju offers regularly. Check it out regularly, and if you see a skin you are interested in, don’t postpone the purchase — like with other season skin, Kaiju brawlers will be out of reach pretty soon.

Brawl Arena: A MOBA game mode in Brawl Stars

This new game mode makes the Crush the Kaiju season truly unique! We get multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) matches in Brawl Stars.

You may know the genre by such games as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Dota 2, and League of Legends. This time, the developers follow the path of simplified rules and short playing sessions.

Instead of long 45-minute battles, you can enjoy five-minute Brawl Arena clashes. The process of leveling up your characters is more accessible. This MOBA is all about chaotic fun!

This game mode was announced during the Battle for Katana Kingdom Brawl Talk. The key points of Brawl Arena are the following.

  • The map is bigger than usual in Brawl Stars. Players can battle each other on the lanes or defeat neutral monsters in the jungle.
  • Both teams have defensive towers. Keeping them standing helps protect your team’s base. Destroying the towers of your opponents is a crucial task in Brawl Arena.
  • Battles with other players and neutral monsters give resources to power up your brawlers.
  • Defeat a huge Kaiju to receive a mighty boost for your team. With this power on your side, push to win the match.
  • The main goal of the Brawl Stars MOBA is to destroy the base of the other team.

During the Brawl Cup 2025 event, we saw a few showmatches that highlighted Brawl Arena quite nicely.
