A surprise stream shows what’s coming to Brawl Stars. The game gets a big package of new features!

Right after the start of Brawl Stars April Finals, the game decided to treat the community to even more excitement! The next Brawl Talk, teased as Katana Kingdom, brought us much more than new Brawl Pass reveals.

The stream’s title clearly suggests that a new brawler rarity is coming to the game. Also, the game gets two new characters, an epic event, and a MOBA mode. Here are all the details!

Where to watch the Katana Kingdom Brawl Talk?

The Brawl Talk Katana Kingdom is embedded below, so you can watch it right here.

The newest Brawl Start brawler rarity — Ultra Legendary

Yes, it’s true! Brawl Stars gets new extremely rare characters: Ultra Legendary brawlers.

Before it was announced, the game had five types of brawler rarity. Now, we have six tiers. The characters in Brawl Stars can be:

  • Rare
  • Super Rare
  • Epic
  • Mythic
  • Legendary
  • Ultra Legendary — the newest tier

Every Ultra Legendary Brawl Stars character has something unique. This feature varies between brawlers.

Kaze, the first Ultra Legendary brawler

The official social account of Brawl Stars shared an interesting poster for this Brawl Talk. It features Kenji, the sushi chef, and someone mysterious. It turned out that Kenji has a wife, and they both are on that poster. Her name is Kaze, and she is the new brawler of the new Ultra Legendary rarity.

Kaze has two forms. She is a geisha and a ninja. The Ultra Legendary brawler can switch between two personalities mid-battle, which affects her abilities.

Jae-Yong, a karaoke singer, joins Brawl Stars

He is the next brawler. Jae-Yong comes to the game right after Kaze.

The guy is an office worker who loves karaoke, but his singing skills are not very good. In Brawl Stars, Jae-Yong uses two different attack types to shoot projectiles:

  • to heal teammates;
  • to give them a speed boost.

The attacks also damage opponents, naturally.

Battle for Katana Kingdom

Once, Kenji tried out a new sushi recipe. It did not go too well — the sushi applies mysterious Wasabi Powers to Brawl Star brawlers. It’s a story behind the new event: the Battle for Katana Kingdom.

You can unlock 60 special powers for your characters in use in Brawl Stars matches.

How to unlock Wasabi Powers and skins

During the Brawl Stars event, the Battle for Katana Kingdom, special game modes are available, marked with a Wasabi icon. Play them and win Sushi Rolls, which work almost like Starr Drops. Unlock one and get a Wasabi Power, a skin, or other rewards.

When does the Battle for Katana Kingdom begin?

Traditionally, the new Brawl Pass season starts at the start of a month. The Battle for Katana Kingdom begins right after the Super Brawl, on May 1.

Brawl Arena: A Brawl Stars MOBA

A new game mode comes to the game, and it changes how you play Brawl Stars.

  • Brawl Arena is a MOBA mode, similar to Mobile Legends, League of Legends, or Dota 2.

The rules copy other MOBAs, but matches here go on only for five minutes. You can level up your brawlers, hunt for neutral objectives with power-ups, and just have a lot of chaotic fun.
