Needless to say, it was non-stop action that kept millions of fans glued to their screens. This year was more than just competitions. It became a full-blown event, drawing in live audiences and breaking viewership records. 

With data provided by esports charts, let’s take a blast from the past and check out the top 10 most-watched MLBB esports matches in 2025.

The event with the highest peak viewership for 2025 is MPL Indonesia Season 15. The Grand Final match between ONIC ID and RRQ Hoshi reached 4,132,224 concurrent viewers. Six out of 10 matches come from MPL ID, the official MLBB regional league of Indonesia.

This led to their shining moment in the playoffs, where they beat Alter Ego with a 3-1 score, placing them one step closer to a grand finals bid. The crucial match amassed 2,277,288 peak viewership, placing it at number 10 on the list of most-watched MLBB esports matches in 2025. This will not be the last time we’ll be seeing RRQ Hoshi bringing in a ton of viewership. This is because they have one of the most dedicated fan bases in MLBB esports.

9. ONIC ID vs Team Liquid PH (MSC 2025 - Semifinals)

Next, we have the match between ONIC ID and Team Liquid PH. The PH vs ID rivalry is a classic one in terms of MLBB esports. It also happens that these two have one of the most loyal fan bases. The RRQ fanbase is back to raise viewership numbers. The match is between RRQ Hoshi and NAVI in MPL ID Season 16 Week 9. This was a crucial match for RRQ, as they were racing for points. These two teams have already met in the Upper Bracket Finals, where that match is number eight on this list, and it makes sense. ONIC is already a powerhouse with a solid fanbase. Meanwhile, Alter Ego is slowly regaining its momentum and is on the road to reclaiming its former glory.

The M5 World Championship still holds the most-watched MLBB esports match of all time. The clash between ONIC ID and Bren Esports reached 5,067,1007 peak views. Since then, this record has not been surpassed. If MLBB wants to break more viewership records next year, we’re gonna need to see more of ONIC ID vs RRQ Hoshi. Unless, of course, a new contender appears, with a massive army of fans rallying behind them.
