TLPH continues the Golden Road dream as they eliminate ONIC ID in the Lower Bracket match in the M7 World Championship Knockout Stage Day 3.

The fallen kings, ONIC ID and Team Liquid PH (TLPH), fought the fight of their lives in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M7 World Championship Knockout Stage Day 3. This is a high-stakes match as the loser will be eliminated from the tournament. This means that only one regional champion gets to proceed to the next stage.

That said, here is a quick recap of the ONIC ID vs TLPH match in the M7 World Championship Knockout Stage Day 3.

The series opened with an explosive teamfight at the 2-minute mark as both teams clashed over the first Turtle in Game 1. While Team Liquid PH secured the objective, they were forced to trade two members in the process. Even trades continued in the early minutes, with neither side clearly pulling ahead. By the 6-minute mark, however, the tempo shifted as kills began to pile up in TLPH’s favor. Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya’s Sora and Kiel “Oheb” Soriano’s Esmeralda dominated fights, racking up kills and establishing control. At 10 minutes, TLPH held a commanding 12–kill lead and converted it into a Lord push, forcing ONIC ID back into their base. At the 14-minute mark, ONIC ID has no turrets left, leaving their base fully exposed. A final desperate teamfight from ONIC ID failed, allowing Team Liquid PH to close out a dominant Game 1 victory.

Team Liquid PH showed no hesitation in continuing their aggressive playstyle in Game 2, frequently committing to risky early skirmishes. This constant pressure forced ONIC ID to scramble for map control while trying to survive repeated teamfights. Once again, Sanford’s Lapu-Lapu and Oheb’s Sora proved overwhelming, with ONIC ID unable to find a reliable answer throughout the match. At the 15-minute mark, ONIC ID attempted to contest a Lord but failed, resulting in heavy casualties and a marching Lord pushing down the mid lane. Despite several disciplined defensive holds, ONIC ID were eventually forced out of their base for one final fight. A cannon minion from TLPH slipped through, which was then backed by the TLPH squad, sealing the second game.

With their M7 run on the line, ONIC ID went all-in in the decisive Game 3, and the gamble paid off. They secured an early advantage, building a 1.7k gold lead and six kills by the 3-minute mark. The snowball quickly spiraled out of control. Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol erupted on Yi Sun-Shin, going on a massive kill streak and reaching eight kills by the 7-minute mark. The momentum completely flipped, with Team Liquid PH now on the receiving end of ONIC ID’s aggression. TLPH attempted to fight back but found themselves unable to take down any members of ONIC ID. With full control of the map and resources, ONIC ID launched an all-in mid lane push at the 11-minute mark. They then follow with a team wipeout, closing the game and keeping the series alive.

Riding the momentum from the previous win, ONIC ID started Game 4 on the offensive. However, Team Liquid PH weathered the storm, denying ONIC ID the early breakthroughs they were looking for. The game remained relatively quiet until the 5-minute mark. Oheb was caught in a surprise ambush in the Gold Lane. TLPH quickly responded with a pickoff from Gilang “SANZ” on Luo Yi, opening the map in their favor. This window allowed Team Liquid PH to secure three Turtles and a Lord by the 9-minute mark. This also left ONIC ID without a single major objective. With overwhelming map control, TLPH forced Kairi into split-pushing as the resource gap continued to widen. ONIC ID attempted a desperate fight at the 17-minute mark, but it backfired badly, resulting in a wipeout. Team Liquid PH immediately pushed to end the game, closing the series with a 3–1 victory.

“We’ll give it our all just to get this one,” Oheb explains how TLPH will stop at nothing to get their M7 Golden Road dream

With the win against ONIC ID, TLPH gets to fight another day in the M7 World Championship. That said, TLPH’s star Gold Laner, Oheb, shared in a post-match interview how the team is dead set on achieving their Golden Road goal no matter what it takes.

“We don’t care what happens, how tiring it gets, or whatever sacrifices we have to make, we’ll give it our all just to get this one.”

Lower bracket matches can be exhausting with the pressure exerted from being one loss away from elimination. This means every team in this bracket is expected to give it their all, no matter the odds. It will be interesting to see if TLPH can survive the gauntlet and reach the grand finals of the M7 World Championship. If they can pull this off, they will be the first team to win all official MLBB esports championship titles.
