Week 2 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL PH) Season 15 Regular Season showcased a star match between two world champion-caliber teams Team Falcons PH and ONIC PH, and it felt like a grand finals match. Both teams push each other to their limits, even during the drafting phase.
ONIC PH's Gold Laner, Grant "Kelra" Pillas, led his team to a commanding Game 1 victory. However, Team Falcon’s Gold Laner, Marco "Super Marco" Requitano, turned the series around with a stellar performance, orchestrating a reverse sweep. To top it all off, he secured the season’s first Savage, a six-kill streak, solidifying his impact in Falcon’s hard-fought comeback.
The team has been together for multiple seasons while still maintaining peak form. You can't help but wonder what keeps this squad going. In the post-match press conference, team captain Angelo "Pheww" Arcangel addressed this question. And honestly, his response is something we can all relate to.

In a post-match press conference, team captain Pheww shared how the team was frustrated that they failed to qualify for the M5 World Championship and defend their title last year.
"It wasn't fun because we didn't qualify for Worlds. But that's just how it is—sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. We've also experienced losses multiple times, and we knew that we can't win every game," Pheww expressed.
Instead of losing hope, the team uses it as motivation to get back in top shape for MPL PH Season 15, along with another reason. According to Pheww, money is also a driving factor for why they keep moving forward.
"When we lose, all of us get motivated. Especially when we notice that when we lose, the prize money is low. That's why we really want to bounce back," Pheww said.
Pheww's is a very realistic response rarely heard from esports players when asked the same question.
