The upcoming Grock Revamp in MLBB will not only be a defensive fortress but also a problem for Physical Damage heroes.
Grock will soon get a revamp in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), and it’s about to be a nightmare for Physical Damage heroes. The scaling of his attacks changes from Physical Attack to Physical Defense. On top of that, he can deal damage based on the enemy’s Max HP. This means Grock is no longer just a stone wall, but can now also melt tank heroes with his attacks.
With that said, let’s dive deep into the abilities of Grock revamp in MLBB, based on the Advanced Server.
Grock revamp in MLBB: All new skills
Passive: Bastion of Stone

- Grock gains a Shield based on a percentage of his Max HP.
- His next Basic Attack deals bonus Physical Damage that scales with his Physical Defense and the target's Max HP.
- Grock becomes immune to crowd control while casting his skills.
- While the Shield is active, Grock gains additional Physical Defense that increases with his level.
This passive requires him to stack up on Physical Defense to increase overall damage output. On top of that, while he has an active shield, he gains bonus Physical Defense. This makes him a good counterpick to most assassins like Nolan, Ling, Lancelot, or even fighters like Lapu-Lapu and Phoveus.
Skill 1: Mighty Swing

- Grock revamp slams forward, dealing significant Physical Damage based on his Extra Physical Attack.
- The slam can knock enemies back. If they hit a terrain, they are knocked airborne and deal bonus Physical Damage based on their Max HP.
This skill is good for suppressing high mobility heroes, especially those who love to stick to the walls like Ling or Fanny.

Skill 2: Earthen Rampart

- Summons a stone wall that can knock enemies and deal damage.
- Cast this skill again to remove the wall early.
Another skill that can stop most heroes from escaping. The wall can be used to displace heroes who are using channeling abilities like Pharsa or Yve.
Ultimate: Tectonic Charge

- Grock dashes forward, damaging all enemies in his path.
- If he collides with a terrain, he stops and triggers a powerful explosion that knocks enemies airborne.
- If he does not hit a terrain, the cooldown is slightly reduced.
This skill is very useful in starting team fights. If you can’t find a terrain to hit, use your Skill 2: Earthen Rampart and slam into it for the knock-up effect. Unlike his previous Ultimate, enemies are no longer knocked up if you can’t hit a terrain, so try and hit one as much as possible.
When is the release date of the Grock revamp in MLBB?
The Grock revamp in MLBB is set to arrive on Aug. 6, 2025. In the first week of launch, you can unlock this hero along with his Elite skin for 30% off, using Diamonds. This is a good time to get a skin for a cheaper price.
With that said, if you can’t wait for the release day, you can always check out the hero on the Advanced server. We have a guide on how you can access the MLBB Advanced Server using the TapTap app. However, keep in mind that slots may be limited and registrations are only open every Friday.
