Marvel Rivals update: March 5
Marvel Rivals version 20260305 will arrive on March 5 at 9 a.m. UTC. This update will not involve any server downtime, which means will simply have to patch it in before launching the game. In terms of what Marvel Rivals players can expect in this update, the Chrono-Rush event will return for a couple of weeks. Players will have between March 5 to March 20 to collect Chrono Tokens.

This update will also fix a bug that causes Angela’s Assassin’s Charge to fail to carry enemies after colliding with another Angela using the same ability. Another bug fix will go to Doctor Strange, addressing an issue where enemies don’t immediately fall when a portal opens beneath them.
- Angela: When Angela used Assassin’s Charge to carry an enemy, and collided with an enemy Angela who was also using Assassin’s Charge, there was a slim chance her next Assassin’s Charge wouldn’t carry enemies. The odds were small, but the gods have spoken, and this bug has been banished! Angela’s abilities are now as heavenly as her reputation.
- Doctor Strange: Enemies wouldn’t immediately fall when the Sorcerer Supreme conjured a portal beneath their feet. The mystic arts have been refined: targets now fall as intended the moment a portal opens beneath them. No temporary Cloaks of Levitation allowed!
As for other fixes, Marvel Rivals’ March 5 patch will resolve an issue involving Iron Fist skins and a repeating ultimate voice line. This fix will apply to all platforms.
- Iron Fist: Iron Fist’s Lion’s Gaze costume chromas Savage Spirit and Lively Lion had a stubborn exclusive ultimate ability voice line that wouldn’t quiet down even after turning off exclusive voice settings. We called in the Heroes for Hire, and now the voice toggle works as intended!

Marvel Rivals’ in-game store, meanwhile, will feature the Psylocke – Once-Captive Corsair Bundle, Captain America – Cursed Captain Bundle, and Once-Captive Corsair – Emoji Bundle starting March 6 at 2 a.m. UTC.
