A Marvel Rivals player got removed from the Deadpool Creator Cup. It involved Kingsman265, Cece, Zazzastack, and more.
Kingsman265, a Marvel Rivals player, was removed from a $40,000 tournament after asking teammate Zazzastack to switch off Black Widow. The issue was escalated to the tournament host BasimZB by Zazzastack's boyfriend Kaplunk. Team captain Cece weighed in on the situation as well.
Kingsman265, Cece, and Zazzastack explained
During the Deadpool Creator Cup, Kingsman265 asked Zazzastack, known for being a Black Widow one-trick, to switch to another hero due to concerns about team composition. This led to disagreements and tension in the team. Kingsman265 was later removed from the tournament.
"Guys, listen. You may not want the money, but I do, okay? I really want to win. I need money for college. I need money for everything, and I want to try my hardest to get the right composition," Kingsman265 said during the tournament.
Later, Kingsman265 posted a video on YouTube to show his perspective. He prefaced the video by saying not to harass or send hate to anyone.
"Okay, guys. Well. I was just kicked out of the tournament," Kingsman265 said in the video, adding that it was unfortunate. He continued, "I've been messaging Basim for the past like 20 and [there's] nothing to do. I just got to get removed, I guess. Wow. What a joke, bro. I mean, like, that's just insane."
Cece responds to Kingsman265's Marvel Rivals video
Cece posted a response video on YouTube. She said that Kingsman265 was removed from the Marvel Rivals tournament due to repeated arguments that disrupted the team and lowered morale. She also said that tournament's host, BasimZB, decided to kick Kingsman265 for disrespectful behavior.
"He didn't get kicked because he wanted his teammate to swap off Widow," Cece said in the video. "It was because of the way he went about it. The tone he took and the fact that he continued it for over an hour after being asked multiple times to stop. It was making the team uncomfortable. We were all playing worse, we were distracted, and team morale was just decreasing and it just was not effective."
Later in the video, Cece said that Zazzastack went 0-5 in a game because Kingsman265 pressured her for 30 minutes, affecting her focus and performance. Cece said that the argument continued across multiple maps despite repeated requests to stop. Cece added that she intervened and told Kingsman265 to drop the topic. After that, the team won the map with Zazzastack playing as Black Widow.
Cece and Kaplunk apologize to Kingsman265
A couple of days after the Marvel Rivals tournament, Cece made an apology post on X. She stated that as team captain, she needed to accommodate all teammates and acknowledged that she failed to deescalate the situation. She also apologized for snapping at Kingsman265.

As for Kaplunk, he also apologized to Kingsman265 on X. He stated that he created a Google Doc and shared clips in a way that was one-sided. He acknowledged that he overstepped as well. The community note by james_rescue stated that Zazzastack was aware of the Google Doc's existence.
