NetEase Games has revealed that Marvel Rivals players will get to duke it out in a special game mode this April. This game mode will involve Loki and reference The Avengers.
Marvel Rivals Loki game mode
Marvel Rivals’ Loki game mode will let one person play as Loki. As the God of Mischief, they will face off against six other people playing as different heroes. The Loki player will have a brand-new set of skills.
According to NetEase Games, this kit will combine deception, illusions, and Infinity Stone abilities to turn Loki’s foes against each other. Meanwhile, the other players will get the opportunity to summon Hulk and recreate that one scene from The Avengers.
This game mode will be an “asymmetrical PVP” one, according to NetEase Games.
Marvel Rivals Avengers release date
In terms of the release date for this Loki game mode, it will arrive sometime in April as part of a tie-in event with Marvel Studios’s The Avengers. Therefore, it will likely go live during Marvel Rivals Season 7. Season 7 itself will launch on March 20.
