Format for the tournament
Since it is double elimination, teams will be seeded into two quarterfinal matches. Losers go down to face each other, with the winner of that facing off against the loser of the first two winners' match. And then boom, we have our double elimination Grand Final.
Each team in their matches gets to ban two heroes and lock one hero throughout the series. When it comes to matches, it is randomized with a second match onward having a focus on using a separate map from previous ones.
That means we'll likely see a solid mix of Domination, Convoy, and Convergence modes on a variety of maps. There is also a sizeable prize pool. Here's the breakdown:
- 1st: $10,000
- 2nd: $7,000
- 3rd: $3,000
