LCS Summer 2024 Countdown
The LCS Summer 2024 is scheduled to begin on June 15, 2024. It will continue with the previous structure of having eight teams compete in a best-of-one double round-robin. The top six teams from the regular season will qualify for the playoffs, where they will compete to represent NA in the upcoming LoL Worlds 2024.
The LCS has three seeds for Worlds 2024, all of whom will come from this LCS split's playoffs. The 1st and 2nd-place teams will begin Worlds in the bracket stage, and the third-place team will have to play through the play-in stage.

The LCS in 2024

In Summer, the North American region is once again looking to prove itself on the international stage. During MSI 2024, the LCS came under ridicule due to FlyQuest flunking the play-in stage and failing to qualify for the bracket stage.
The other LCS representative in MSI, Team Liquid, played quite well. They exited at 5th to 6th place after suffering losses against Top Esports and T1. TL was, however, able to pick up a win versus Fnatic in the lower bracket.
