The next major League of Legends (LoL) tournament, Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) draws near, and with Movistar KOI's recent victory in the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) Spring Split, fans are more hyped than ever. Here's everything to know about LoL MSI 2025, including the schedule, location, format, results, and more.
LoL MSI 2025 schedule
LoL MSI 2025 runs from June 27 to July 12, giving fans just over two weeks of esports action. This tournament takes place between the second and third splits of every region, with only two teams from each region competing for the MSI title. The most coveted prize, however, is qualification for this year's LoL World Championship (Worlds 2025).
LoL MSI 2025 format
In terms of the format, LoL MSI 2025 kicks off on June 27 with the Play-In Stage, where four teams must compete under a best-of-five (Bo5), double-elimination format. Next, the top two teams advance to the Bracket Stage, joining eight other teams for more Bo5 and double-elimination matches.
