Linkin Park’s Heavy Is The Crown is the LoL Worlds 2024 anthem

Riot Games confirmed that Heavy Is The Crown by Linkin Park is the official League of Legends Worlds 2024 (LoL Worlds 2024) anthem.

The Heavy Is The Crown music video for LoL Worlds 2024 premieres on Sept. 24 at 8 a.m. PT. This release follows Linkin Park's hit single, The Emptiness Machine, which marked the band's first brand-new music since 2017.

In an announcement, Mike Shinoda revealed that it's been an amazing experience partnering with Riot Games to bring this anthem to the LoL community.

"The song is a real highlight of this new era for us, harnessing our signature sound and infusing it with fresh energy: We're so excited for players and fans to experience this," he said.

Miria Egan, the global head of music at Riot Games, agreed. Egan added that it's an honor to partner with Linkin Park. The Heavy Is The Crown lyrics, in particular, perfectly capture the narrative of LoL Worlds 2024.
