Brackets
Crossplay Decider
LEC 2025 Summer Playoffs start with two elimination matches. These teams were 3rd and 4th in their groups, so they should prove to be strong enough to battle for the Worlds 2025 qualification.
- Team Heretics 1:3 Team Vitality
- GIANTX 3:0 Team BDS
Upper Round 1
These are the semifinals, and winning here is super important. Basically, these are the Worlds 2025 qualification matches: those who advance to Upper Round 2 Upper Final are in the top 3 for sure.
- G2 Esports 3:1 Karmine Corp
- KOI 3:2 Fnatic
G2 is the first EU team to guarantee themselves qualification for the LoL Worlds 2025. They defeated Karmine Corp.
Movistar KOI won a wonderfully close match versus Fnatic. They also got themselves a ticket to LoL Worlds 2025 and a chance to play in the LEC 2025 Summer grand final in front of the home crowd in Madrid.
Lower Round 1
Two of the split favorites fell into the lower brackets: Fnatic and Karmine Corp. In theory, they should survive Lower Round 1 of LEC 2025 Summer Playoffs. In practice — LoL Esports is unpredictable.
- Vitality 1:3 Karmine Corp
- GIANTX 3:0 Fnatic
Upper Round 2 (final)
While both these teams have already secured their spots at the League of Legends Worlds 2025, watching Movistar KOI and G2 Esports battling in the upper brackets final is quite an experience. The winners advance to the split's grand final
- Movistar KOI 1:3 G2 Esports
LEC 2025 Summer finals in Madrid
For the three final matches of the Summer 2025 season, LEC is coming to Madrid, Spain.
Lower Round 2 (semifinal)
It's arguably the most important match of the final series. The winners secure themselves the top 3 spot at LEC 2025 Summer and qualify for the LoL Worlds 2025.
- Fnatic vs Karmine Corp
Lower Round 3 (final)
Movistar KOI lost to G2 in the upper final, so they fell to the lower brackets. The winners of this match have a chance to battle G2 Esports in the grand final of this League of Legends esports season in Europe.
- KOI vs FNC/KC
Split final
Is anyone surprised to see G2 Esports being the first contender for the LEC 2025 Summer trophy? With all the turmoil of the international competition and even some shaky regional performance, G2 remains on the top in Europe. The biggest LoL teams of the region would be happy to take the #1 spot from them, and the split final gives them this chance.
- G2 vs TBD
Looking back at the Group stage
In the starting stage of LEC 2025 Summer, G2 Esports finally abandoned their habit of shaky performance in the split beginnings. It’s the only team that finished the Group stage with four wins and zero losses.
At the regional EU LoL tournaments of 2025, G2 players are in the top 2. The international performance is rather disastrous. G2 got eliminated by FlyQuest at MSI 2025 is not a result to be proud of.
KOI were #1 in their group. They got ahead of Karmine Corp only thanks to losing one game less.
Movistar KOI reached the top 8 at the MSI 2025, but CFO eliminated them.
Karmine Corp were the heroes of the First Stand 2025. They played in the grand final, but Hanwha Life Esports turned out to be too hard opponents.
Fnatic have been struggling this year: they couldn’t qualify for International events. Can LEC Summer 2025 bring a different result?
During the Group stage, Fnatic were in one group with G2 — and they lost only to this rival organization.
Underdogs
GIANTX, Team Vitality, Team Heretics, and Team BDS are in the underdog category. They experienced some losses in the LEC 2025 Summer Groups. It would be a pretty big deal for them to make it to the top 3.

SK Gaming could not qualify for the playoffs only because of the game score. Three teams in their groups had the same results of won-lost matches, 1:3.
NAVI lost all the Group stage matches. It’s an experience they earned, right?
The LoL World Championship 2025 event goes from Oct. 14 to Nov. 9. Qualification tournaments happen in all main regions.
