The emotes designed by each professional League of Legends team have been revealed! Here are our top 10 best LoL Esports team emote picks for this year.
What are the LoL Esports team emotes?
All of the active professional League of Legends teams and organizations worldwide are given the opportunity to design one emote each year. This is done to give fans a way to support and represent their favorite team in-game.
Each one costs 350 RP, and 30% of the profit goes directly to the organization. The 2024 LoL Esports team emotes go live on LoL patch 14.17, scheduled for Aug. 28.
Honorable Mention: 100 Thieves Akali
Despite not making it to live, the 100 Thieves Akali emote is worth mentioning.
The old version is the one on the right in the above post. It was altered because of potential offensive and derogatory meanings in some cultures.
However, this does not prevent the emote from happening in real life, as demonstrated by 100T top laner Rayan "Sniper" Shoura.
Team BDS Bait
The old Bait ping was removed due to players using it maliciously, but Team BDS brought it back through their emote. It comes with a cute penguin, too. Unfortunately, Riot also elected to change this one. No reasons were stated, but it's probably because of the same reason the original bait ping was removed.
Cloud9 Clown 9 Jinx
It's Jinx, and she's dressed as a clown. The ? missing ping is the cherry on top. She's also extra Harley Quinn-coded in this emote.
Karmine Corp Jinx Surrender

Weibo Gaming Vel'Koz
This one is notable for multiple reasons. One, because Vel'Koz does not get enough love in terms of cosmetics. Another, because they somehow made Vel'Koz look like the Weibo logo if you look at it just right.

GAM Esports stands out every time they represent the VCS in internationals. Most of the time, this is because of their charismatic CEO, who gives this hand sign as much airtime as he can.
