What is the new League of Legends mode?
Arena mode is the new 2v2v2v2 mode that has been speculated for many months to be coming to the game. Arena is a round-based battle between four teams of two. In each round, you will face one of the three opposing pairs. Like in League of Legends Teamfight Tactics (TFT) mode, players will have a health bar that will either stay the same or decrease after each 2v2 battle.
Along the way, players will receive gold to buy items as well as use Hextech Augment cards to further strengthen their champion. The goal is simple, be the last team standing by putting the other three teams down to 0 HP (health points).
If you want to get your hands on the new mode early, head on over to the Public Beta Environment. Bear in mind, the servers for the PBE are in North America, meaning anyone outside of the region will be playing on significantly worse ping.
