League of Legends: 2025 Worlds venues and schedule revealed!

Riot Games has announced the venues for the 2025 League of Legends World Championship! The fact that this year's Worlds will take place in China has been long-revealed, but now we have the exact venues alongside the specific dates of when each stage will occur.

Worlds is back in China! The last time the greatest LoL teams competed here was for the 2020 World Championship, where DAMWON Gaming took home the trophy after a 3-1 grand final, beating Suning in front of their home crowd.

This year's Worlds will take place from October 14 and will crown the newest champion on November 9. The tournament will visit three cities in China across its different stages.

Play-ins and Swiss

First, the play-in and Swiss stages will be at the Beijing Smart Esports Center in Beijing. This is a state-of-the-art venue built for esports events, and 2025 Worlds marks its first LoL World Championship.

Play-ins will be on October 14 and will see a faceoff between the two best-performing regions from MSI to advance.

The competition continues in the Swiss stage from October 15 to 25. Out of the 16 teams, eight will advance while the other eight will be eliminated.

Knockouts

After the Swiss stage, the remaining teams will move to the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai. This stage will be a single elimination, best-of-five bracket from October 28 to November 2.

This venue was the home to the final few days of VALORANT Masters Shanghai last year, as well as some major competitions for Dota 2, like the 2016 Shanghai Major and TI 2019.

Finals

Finally, the 2025 World Finals will be on November 9 at the Dong'an Lake Sports Park Multifunctional Gymnasium in Chengdu.

While we now know the dates and venues for all stages of Worlds 2025, Riot Games said that tickets are not yet available and instead advises fans to stay tuned for further information.
