How to unlock the LoL Worlds 2024 Viego skin

League of Legends Worlds 2024 (LoL Worlds 2024) is kicking off on Sept. 25! This year, the featured skin is none other than The Ruined King himself — Viego. If you would like to add him to your collection, then read on for our quick guide on how to unlock the LoL Worlds 2024 Viego skin.

To obtain the LoL Worlds 2024 Viego skin, players must participate in the Pick’Em event and be in the "top 5,000 highest ranked scores in both the Pick’Em and Crystal Ball global leaderboards." Another way to get this skin is by purchasing the Worlds Unlocked 2024 Collector's Edition. This costs $99 USD. Finally, this skin is avaliable starting Sept. 25 at 11 a.m. PT for 1,350 RP.

"For the last three years, there have been zero Perfect Picks! We have added guaranteed rewards for the top 5,000 highest ranked scores in both the Pick’Em and Crystal Ball global leaderboards," Riot Games stated in an official post. "Those top scorers will additionally earn the Worlds 2024 Viego skin as well as Viego (if not already unlocked)."

Worlds 2024 Viego is set to launch on Sept. 25 with patch 14.19 at 11 a.m. PT. As noted, this skin costs 1,350 RP. You can also get the Worlds 2024 Viego Triumphant chroma and icon for 300 Tokens via the  LoL Worlds 2024 Event Shop.

As for the method requiring $99 USD, here are all of the items included in the offer. The Lux figure, in particular, includes an exclusive “AWW YEAH!” animated emote.

This skin features Viego in royal clothing. His blue attire also includes a gold trim in the splash art. In terms of what Viego looks like in LoL itself, Riot Games provided a teaser from the public beta environment (PBE). You can take a look at the preview below.
