For Juliano, CEO of DPM.LOL, building the best League of Legends analytics site is a bold challenge, but the team is rising to meet it.
League of Legends has been around for over 15 years, and countless statistics websites have emerged to provide insights on champion builds, pro players’ solo queue data, and more. Yet for Juliano, something was still missing. A reliable source of data that was also visually appealing and easy for everyone to use. In 2024, he decided to create DPM.LOL, but he never expected how it would transform the League of Legends analytics landscape.
Today, DPM.LOL is growing rapidly, breaking boundaries, and expanding internationally. There’s still plenty more to come, and they aren’t slowing down. The 2026 season promises to be full of surprises with the release of a new Desktop app and much more.
We knew that, if we built something genuinely good, it was only a matter of time before it found its audience.
The birth of DPM.LOL
DPM.LOL was born from a feeling that League-related websites were outdated, disconnected from how players actually experience the game. "I was convinced something better was possible, even before thinking seriously about building it myself," DPM.LOL CEO, Juliano, explained to esports.gg in an exclusive interview. "One year ago, I was a totally random guy."
But how does a random guy build one of the most successful League of Legends analytics websites? He studies every website available and then builds one with everything that was lacking. However, launching a website can be a difficult task, as the lack of users could end a small project quickly. "We tried everything. Reddit, YouTube comments, Twitter, TikTok... Wherever we could drop a link. It was fun, but very exhausting," Juliano added. "Working all day to get five new users can be pretty brutal."
Some months later, what started with a few curious users became something bigger. In June 2024, DPM.LOL was launched. Not even Juliano could imagine the repercussions of his own project. One month later, Marc Robert "Caedrel" Lamont came across the website in a Reddit post.
Caedrel is one of the most popular League of Legends personalities in the world, and having him join such a small project was truly life-changing. Not just in visibility, but also in traction. The simple fact that Caedrel mentioned it on one of his streams could bring in thousands of new users, exactly what DPM.LOL needed most.
Caedrel joins DPM.LOL
A month after launching the site, Caedrel dmed Juliano to talk about the project. "He sent me a DM after discovering the site through a random Reddit post. As a long-time fan of his, I was completely stunned. It felt unreal," Juliano stated. However, the pressure was high, and working with Caedrel was strange at the beginning. As a fan himself, collaborating with someone that you've been following for years is not something that everyone is prepared for.
However, it didn't take long for the process to become natural and rewarding. "I'm genuinely grateful for everything he brings to the project," the CEO added. With over 1,5 million Twitch followers, Caedrel brought many users to the website. By January 2025, user numbers had skyrocketed from zero to 500,000, far beyond what the founder had expected.
Having Caedrel join the project so early on was incredible, but having Kamel "Kameto" Kebir also hopping was phenomenal. If you're unaware of who Kameto is, he is the co-owner and president of Karmine Corp, one of the biggest French organizations. He is also the most popular streamer in the country, with 2.1 million Twitch subscribers.
League of Legends is a massive game that evolves constantly, but many existing platforms haven’t really evolved with it and haven’t pushed meaningful updates in years. The ecosystem needed a real shake-up, and that’s exactly what we wanted DPM to be.
And for the French "random guy," having Kameto in this project was incredible. After nearly two years, DPM.LOL had been used by 1% of France’s population. For the non-French people, it might not mean much, but for Juliano meant everything. "It still feels unreal to me," he shared on X. Even though he started the project out of love for the game, the CEO watched his small initiative grow into something much bigger, a completely different experience.
"The community is the best part of the project."
League of Legends has a vibrant community, made up of players, singers, voice actors, painters, artisans, and countless other artists from around the world. However, creating a project within this community doesn’t guarantee that everyone will engage with it. And a project without people is not a project.
Over the months, the DPM.LOL started to grow. After Kameto joined the project, the number of users almost doubled. The site kept growing. One million, two million, and now more than three million people. "No magic. No shortcuts," Juliano wrote on X. "Just building, learning, and showing up every day."
In two years of the project, the community support has been outstanding. Without them, this couldn't be possible. For Juliano, the community is the best part of the project, and their feedback is extremely important for its future. "I've always chosen to stay very close to the community on social media and try to answer as many DMs as possible," the CEO explained. "It's very important for users to feel heard and to know their feedback actually matters."
As League of Legends continues to evolve, DPM.LOL promised to fill the content gaps that fans had long been searching for. "Many existing platforms haven’t really evolved with it and haven’t pushed meaningful updates in years," Juliano added. "The ecosystem needed a real shake-up, and that’s exactly what we wanted DPM to be."
Features such as matchup videos are among DPM.LOL’s most unique additions, helping players improve against champions they struggle to face. Other tools, like the Head-to-Head feature, allow fans to compare professional players directly, making it another standout addition to the platform. You can find almost everything on the platform, from tier lists and scouting tools to solo queue and Flex leaderboards, and much more.
How to be a reliable source of information
This may be one of the most challenging aspects of the project, but for DPM.LOL, it is a top priority. Transparency stands as a core pillar of everything they have been building, shaping the very essence of their identity. That's why they try to be as careful as possible in the way they bring that information to the public.
One of the most helpful steps of this transparency is to be in constant contact with high-ranked players and people deeply involved in the competitive scenario, so they can validate the data. "We constantly question our own features and assumptions to make sure they actually help players rather than confuse them," the CEO explained.
Once again, the community is a big part of this process. By providing feedback, the team iterates or even removes features if they know that it does not make sense for the users. And for Juliano, consistency and honesty were the foundation that turned DPM.LOL’s data into a trusted source.
What’s next for DPM.LOL in 2026?
2026 will not be any year. It will be the year. To start with something big, DPM.LOL is releasing a Desktop App. After being delayed, this new app will bring a whole new platform with no ads, no Overwolf, and, according to Juliano, "all the best features you’d expect from multiple apps, unified into a single, clean experience."
One of the team's goals is also to release RFT, a new website dedicated to League of Legends esports. If you're a Counter-Strike fan, you know that HLTV is one of the most complete and reliable sources of information for that title and DPM.LOL wants to bring that vision to LoL. This will be a hub where you can find all the esports-related information, complementing all the work that DPM.LOL does.
As for Juliano, he wants to keep growing as a founder and a leader. "This project has taught me a lot. In 2026, I want to get better at building long-term vision and making better decisions at scale," he said. Over the last few months, Juliano understood that he can't do everything on his own and that trusting in his team's skills will lead him to even better outcomes.
The biggest challenges for DPM.LOL
"I’m truly living a dream," Juliano added. "I get to work every day on something I’m passionate about, surrounded by people who are just as driven, which creates a really positive and motivating environment." Nevertheless, there are still plenty of challenges ahead for this team.
One of the team's goals for the future is to reduce its dependence on Riot Games. They also plan to improve their monetization system healthily, without compromising the experience for users and players. To maintain that consistency, they continue improving the project while preserving the essence and energy that defined it from the beginning.
In the end, it's all about connecting with the community and overcoming the challenges that might appear along the way. "We want to be the most used League of Legends website in the world soon!"
Expanding to new games? Maybe!
The CEO also wants to build the "Duolingo of League of Legends," bringing data to every player, regardless of their rank, in a structured and accessible way to improve through dedicated lessons and coaching. "Instead of overwhelming players with raw data, the focus would be on learning at your own pace, understanding concepts step by step," he explained. Ideas are not lacking, but with the amount of work in the team's hands, this one might need to wait until 2027 or further.
New games are far from off the table, and one day DPM.LOL could welcome TFT and VALORANT into its expanding multiverse.
How can you support DPM.LOL?
Following the website on social media and even visiting it when you need it is definitely one of the simplest things you can do to show your support. However, if you feel that is not enough, you can always become a premium user. There are many subscriptions you can look into to help the team develop an even better platform for your needs.
The DPM Hall of Fame includes every member with a Premium subscription. The website now has 10,350 members. "They literally make this project possible," Juliano stated. And you can be one of them if you wish.
Supporting a project doesn’t always require spending money. You can make a big impact by providing constant feedback and engaging with the development team. They need your words more than you realize. Helping the community is, in the end, helping our favorite game.
