inZOI, an upcoming life simulation game developed by inZOI Studio and published by KRAFTON, the publisher of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, has officially unveiled its complete PC system requirements just days before its early access launch.
Dubbed the “Sims-killer,” inZOI is set to be playable on Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game has been promoting its high-quality graphics and realistic city-level simulations, which require higher system specifications to run smoothly.

inZOI PC system requirements
inZOI was developed using Unreal Engine 5, which means adjustments to the game’s settings can lead to significantly different experiences, even on systems with identical specifications. While inZOI has listed its minimum and recommended system requirements on its Steam page, it has recently included the complete requirements for Minimum, Medium, Recommended, and High settings, allowing players to optimize their experience based on their hardware specifications.
| Minimum | Medium | Recommended | High | |
| OS | Windows 10/11 64-bit | Windows 10/11 64-bit | Windows 10/11 64-bit | Windows 10/11 64-bit |
| Processor | Intel i5 10400 AMD Ryzen 5 3600 | Intel i7 11700 AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D | Intel i7 12700K AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | Intel i7 14700K AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D |
| Memory | 12 GB RAM | 16 GB RAM | 16 GB RAM | 32 GB RAM |
| Graphics | NVIDIA RTX 2060 (6G VRAM) AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT (6G VRAM) | NVIDIA RTX 3060 (8G VRAM) AMD Radeon RX 6600 (8G VRAM) | NVIDIA RTX 3070 (8G VRAM) AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT (16G VRAM) | NVIDIA RTX 4080 (16G VRAM) AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX (24G VRAM) |
| DirectX | Version 12 | Version 12 | Version 12 | Version 12 |
| Network | Internet connection required | Internet connection required | Internet connection required | Internet connection required |
| Storage | 40 GB | 50 GB | 60 GB | 75 GB |
Higher resolutions place a greater load on the GPU as they require rendering a larger number of pixels. For reference:
- 1920×1080 (FHD) = 2,070,000 pixels
- 2560×1440 (QHD) = 3,680,000 pixels (about 1.77x more than FHD)
- 3840×2160 (4K) = 8,290,000 pixels (4x more than FHD!)
Rendering in 4K requires four times the number of pixels as FHD, significantly increasing GPU processing needs and reducing frame rates if the hardware isn’t up to par.
Additionally, higher resolutions also demand more VRAM, which can lead to shortages due to increased buffer sizes. Moreover, SSDs can enhance performance by providing:
- Faster data transfer speeds than HDDs, resulting in reduced loading times for in-game maps and resources.
- Improved texture streaming to minimize texture pop-ins and maintain high-quality graphics.
- Fewer frame drops for a smoother gameplay experience.
- Faster installation and update times, allowing players to get into the game faster.

For those unfamiliar with technical details, inZOI has also prepared preset guidelines to help players set up their graphics settings effectively.
| Minimum | Medium | Recommended* | High* | |
| Better Graphics | NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution / AMD FSR 3 / XeSS -Performance Ray Tracing – On Preset – Low | NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution / AMD FSR 3 / XeSS – Performance Ray Tracing – On Preset – Medium | NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution / AMD FSR 3 / XeSS – Balance Ray Tracing – On Preset – High | NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution / AMD FSR 3 / XeSS – Quality Ray Tracing – On Preset – Ultra High |
| Better Performance | NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution / AMD FSR 3 / XeSS – Ultra Performance Ray Tracing – Off Preset – Very Low | NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution / AMD FSR 3 / XeSS – Performance Ray Tracing – Off Preset – Low | NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution / AMD FSR 3 / XeSS – Performance Ray Tracing – Off Preset – Medium | NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution / AMD FSR 3 / XeSS – Balance Ray Tracing – Off Preset – High |
- Better Graphics: Maximizes the game’s visual quality. May cause occasional frame drops and longer loading times.
- Better Simulations: Optimizes simulation speed and ensures smoother gameplay, but may reduce visual quality.
*The settings for the Recommended and High tiers are optimized for 4K monitors.
