All of Indonesia’s reps to KIC2025 are now out of the running as Bigetron by Vitality and Vesakha fall to Twisted Minds and BOOM Esports.

All representatives from the Indonesian Kings League (IKL) are out of the Kings International League (KIC) 2025 as both Bigetron by Vitality and Vesakha Esports fell to Twisted Minds and BOOM Esports, respectively. The two ID teams failed to get through their do-or-die matches, marking 7th-8th as the highest finish for the IKL region in this international tournament.

First on the chopping block was Bigetron by Vitality, who went up against the Italy-based Twisted Minds. This series marked the first Ultimate Battle of the event as the best-of-seven went the distance. Ultimately, Twisted Minds closed out the series with an 11-minute win in game 7, sealing BTR's fate.

Afterwards, Vesakha Esports remained as the last vestige of hope for the IKL region. They were up against BOOM Esports from the Philippine Kings League (PKL). Much to the dismay of VESA's fans, BOOM swept them in the series. Their final game also involved an 11-minute victory for BOOM.

The third rep for Indonesia in KIC2025, Rex Regum Qeon, did not make it past the group stage.

KIC2025 continues

As the tournament progresses, the favorites are becoming clearer and clearer. Of course, with their wins against the IKL teams, Twisted Minds and BOOM Esports remain in the running. However, all of their games are do-or-dies, and the upper bracket teams are not going to make it easy on them.

For Twisted Minds, they await the loser of Blacklist International and Homebois BSE. These two teams are the first seeds from PKL and Malaysian Kings League (MKL), respectively, so TWIS is in for a challenge no matter what.

PKL's second seed, BOOM Esports, is waiting for the loser of the match between Nova and Alpha Gaming, MKL's second and third seeds, respectively. Since MKL is widely considered the strongest region in this tournament, BOOM also has their work cut out for them.

The champions of KIC2025 will be crowned at the grand final on Nov. 30, 2025. The top three teams will participate in the Challenger Cup 2025 in China, where they will go against Chinese teams in a month-long competition.
