Honor of Kings Ziya new hero leaks: Release date, skills, and more

Honor of Kings (HoK) is ready to launch its 91st hero, Ziya, a mage and also a character who is suitable for the mid lane or roamer role. Official information about Ziya will be released later by HoK's developers, but here is some leaked information you might be interested in!

First released with a different name, "Jiang Ziya" in King of Glory or China’s version of HoK, Ziya will reportedly be available on the global server starting on Aug. 20. He is rumored to be the first and the only hero released in August.

Ziya is a unique hero who can help his allies. Below are the leaked skills descriptions via YouTuber Red Panda. Ziya's actual skill names and descriptions might vary when the hero officially launches in HoK on Aug. 20.

When Ziya deals damage to a target and they are defeated within 3 seconds, he gains 1-3 EXP light orbs to boost his EXP. When Ziya reaches level 15, Sanctification Power is restored, granting the one-time skill Sanctify and increasing his level cap up to level 25. Each level gained grants 20 magical attack.

Using Sanctify will bless a teammate, channeling 1,200 EXP. It allows them to break through their level cap, as well as offering a chance to gain EXP light orbs, which will make an ally level up faster.

This deals magic damage every 0.4 seconds up to 7 hits. Enemies will gradually lose up to 50% movement speed and 10% of their physical and magical defense. Additionally, Ziya gains 30% movement speed that diminishes over 1 second.

This deals 3 strike damage to nearby enemies. After a short delay, the magic circle explodes, dealing damage and launching enemies for 0.75 seconds.

This move charges divine energy in the target direction, launching 3 shockwaves. The last one will deal more damage. Upon reaching level 15, Ziya's Sanctification Power is restored and the charging speed of Universal Law is increased by 10%. The charging of the ultimate doesn't change the damage it deals. The only difference is the range. It will also deal damage to the towers.

Ziya is expected to be available in the shop with a price tag of either 18,888 Starstones or 13,888 Starstones. The hero can also be bought with Tokens or Limited-Time Tokens, but it is recommended to buy him with Starstones instead since you can get that currency more easily.

Players might be able to get him at cheaper prices later on through weekly discounts. It's also possible to use a Trial Card to play him in matches.
