The 2024 HoK Championship is set for October in Indonesia, with 16 global teams coming for the $1,000,000 USD prize pool.

Honor of Kings (HoK) concluded its inaugural HoK Invitational Midseason 2024 in Riyadh at the Esports World Cup with the KPL Dream Team emerging as the champions. During the event, Level Infinite also announced their next major HoK global event, the 2024 Honor of Kings Championship, which will be hosted in Indonesia this October.

Top 16 teams to compete for $1,000,000 USD

With the HoK Invitational Midseason 2024 Riyadh now behind us, the focus shifts to the 2024 HoK Championship in October.

The championship event can be seen as the pinnacle of the HoK Global Invitational Series, featuring the 16 best teams from around the world. Teams from Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, Turkey, Brazil, the Middle East and North Africa, America, Europe, and the Pacific will compete for a $1 million USD prize pool.

While there is yet to be further information regarding this tournament, the community expects that the tournament will be focusing on the global server with the China region not competing in it.

HoK Promises more global events in the future

The HoK Invitational Midseason 2024 in Riyadh at the Esports World Cup marked the first year of a three-year partnership, ensuring HoK’s continued presence at the event after the official global launch on June 2024.

“The Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason at the Esports World Cup was a masterclass in Honor of Kings esports competition with the best teams from around the globe showcasing their talent at the biggest esports festival ever,” said James Yang, the senior director of Level Infinite Global Esports Center.

He also added, “The Esports World Cup has been unlike anything we’ve ever seen from an esports event and we can’t wait to bring more Honor of Kings tournaments globally and great memories.”
