Honkai: Star Rail anniversary rewards and game mode explained

A full spaceship worth of free pulls.

With so many flashy 5-stars like Aventurine and Archeron on the way, it only makes sense for Honkai: Star Rail to throw out a ton of rewards for its anniversary. Hoyoverse has pulled out all the stops to commemorate a full year of Star Rail. The developer revealed its plans to celebrate in the 2.1 update live stream on March 17, 2024.

The confirmed rewards are nice, but there’s reason to suspect that even more will be in store. Here’s everything we know about Honkai’s first anniversary events and how to claim all the rewards for yourself.

How to get free rewards for Honkai: Star Rail’s first anniversary

The first anniversary of Honkai: Star Rail will be April 26. There are seven days of in-game events to celebrate, likely starting on April 19 and ending on the actual anniversary.

Here’s a list of all the rewards confirmed for the event.

  1. 20 Star Rail Special Passes
  2. 1,600 Stellar Jade
  3. Cosmodyssey event rewards
  4. Planar Fissure 300% event rewards
  5. Realm of the Strange 300% event rewards

The three events throw the numbers off, but overall, expect to get around 60 pulls total from the event. That number is based on the 20 pulls from the Star Rail Special Passes and 1,600 Stellar Jade, which is equivalent to 10 pulls. We then assume that each event will reward around 10 pulls, bringing the total up to 60.

There’s reason to believe that Hoyoverse is planning a little something extra. Genshin Impact’s anniversary celebrations typically feature a surprise gift for the community. These vary from a few extra surprise pulls to a brand-new cosmetic.

The Planar Fissure and Realm of the Strange events could feature supercharged rewards as hinted by their 300% name change. Honkai players will need to wait for the anniversary event to start to learn just how many rewards are in store.
