Honkai Star Rail version 4.1 introduces Ashveil, a Mecha Pom-Pom boss, and a shorter-than-usual patch duration.

Honkai Star Rail 4.1 continues the Trailblazer’s journey in Planarcadia. We’re getting a new playable character, Ashveil, and mecha-inspired enemies as Planarcadia expands with more areas to explore. All that can be experienced in a shorter-than-usual patch duration. Here’s everything coming to Honkai Star Rail version 4.1.

Honkai Star Rail version 4.1 release date and duration

HSR 4.1 goes live on March 25, 2026, following a brief maintenance window. Make sure to claim the compensatory Stellar Jades from the in-game mail afterward!

This patch will only last for four weeks, less than the usual six, and it ends on April 21. This is to bring the game calendar back on track after version 3.8 got extended.

Ashveil

Ashveil is a 5-star Lightning character on the Path of The Hunt. He has strong single-target capabilities and includes Follow-Up ATKs in his kit. He can mark a single enemy as “Bait,” against which Ashveil performs a Follow-Up ATK if one of his allies attacks it.

Check out more details of his kit on the official Ashveil Character Preview on HoYoLAB. If you’ve played through Planarcadia in version 4.0, then he shouldn’t be a familiar face!

Ashveil’s Warp banner will be active for all four weeks of HSR 4.1.

Mecha Pom-Pom boss

New Imagenae enemies are coming in this update! One of these new opponents is the Alloy Mechatron: King Pom-Pom!

The Daybreak Squadron class of enemies, with their mecha-inspired designs, also make their entrance.

New areas and Planar Ornaments in HSR 4.1

The Lookout Cloud Station and Pearluxe Tower will be explorable in this update!

Moreover, two Planar Ornament sets will also be added.

2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s Elation by 8%. When Elation reaches 40%/80% for the first time in combat, increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 20%/32%.

This set is a viable choice for Elation units, as the new Path gets more and more characters in it.

2-Pc: When the wearer uses Follow-Up ATK, increases ATK by 24% for 2 turn(s). When an enemy target gets defeated, increases CRIT DMG for all allies by 12% in the current battle. This effect cannot stack.

This set would be a competitive choice for Ashveil, as it buffs Follow-Up ATKs but not necessarily Elation characters. This may also revive some of the more outdated Follow-Up ATK characters.

Honkai Star Rail version 4.1 goes live on March 25, 2026.
