This Cyrene reveal officially confirms her as a playable character in an upcoming Honkai Star Rail update! See what we know here.
Cyrene is the latest character to be revealed as an upcoming playable character in Honkai Star Rail. The Cryene reveal gives us a first look at what her playable version looks like, and the splash art has some cute details in it, too.
"Ripples of Past Reverie" Cyrene
As a playable unit, Cyrene is a 5-star Ice character on the Path of Remembrance. This means that she will have a memosprite, but it's unclear from the splash art what form hers will take. If the art is anything to go by, then it wouldn't be inaccurate to say that her memosprites are the other Cyrenes.

Her splash art does show some of Cyrene's forms throughout Amphoreus, though. This includes her young version, whom the community lovingly refers to as "Smolrene," and Mem. Cryene's drip marketing graphic also notably lacks any Amphorean text on it. All the other Amphoreus characters had some message pertaining to their fate or divine authority printed on the top-right corner, but Cryene lacks this.
Speaking of her Divine Authority, the official announcement has omitted this. It is labeled as simply "...?" while her city of origin is "Aedes Elysiae, ?".
The blurb implies that this is not the Cyrene we knew. Despite this, she asks to be referred to as "Cyrene," as before.

As you may know by now, she bears a striking resemblance to the character Elysia from HoYoverse's Honkai Impact 3rd. She is not alone in being an "expy," or exported character. In Amphoreus alone, many of the Flame-Chasers have counterparts from HI3. Phainon's is Kevin Kaslana, and this link is honored with his true name: Khaslana. Cyrene may be a similar case — she might have a "true name," likely a variation of Elysia.
