Echoes of Un’Goro makes Dragons and Quilboars Rally up for a clash against Pirates and Bounties!

Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 11 is almost here, which means some major updates to the minion pool, a new feature, the arrival of the Rally keyword, the return of Quests, and so much more. Here's everything to know about this season, including its release date and a preview of some cards. We've also created a live countdown to Echoes of Un'Goro!

Here's our live countdown to Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 11. According to Blizzard Entertainment, Echoes of Un'Goro goes live on Aug. 5 at 10 a.m. PT.

What to expect in Echoes of Un'Goro

Once Season 11 begins, players can experiment with the new Rally keyword and check out the new Bounty keyword for Pirate minions. Other features to expect include the return of Quests, Loh, the Living Legend as a hero, 100 new and returning minions and Tavern spells, the Battlegrounds Guide feature, plus a track refresh.

Hearthstone Battlegrounds Rally keyword

In Hearthstone Battlegrounds, Rally activates an effect when a Rally minion attacks. Season 11 mainly features Dragons and Quilboar minions with Rally, but other minions have this keyword as well. Some examples of Rally cards include Charmwing, Tusked Camper, Exceptional Caretaker, and Felblaze Leader.

Hearthstone Battlegrounds Bounty keyword

As for the Bounty keyword, it pertains to Tier 3 Tavern spells that can only be used by Pirate lobbies. There are five of these spells in total, but a lot of new Pirate minions can generate them. A couple examples include Bigwig Bandit and Proud Privateer.

Quests return to Hearthstone Battlegrounds

Thirty-five are returning in Season 11, and some of them even feature the new Rally keyword. For a quick refresher, players can select one of three Quests on Turn 4. Quest completion results in powerful Quest Rewards.

Loh, the Living Legend enters Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 11

Players who select Loh, the Living Legend as their hero should aim for their minions attacking 15 times. The reward is the Hero's Welcome hero power, which lets the player Discover a Rally minion at the cost of 1 Gold.

Guide feature in Hearthstone Battlegrounds

In terms of the aforementioned Guide feature, it's a quality-of-life (QoL) update that lets players see which minions and Tavern spells are in their lobby. These are also organized by tier and type.

Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 11 track refresh

Finally, the rewards track gets a refresh. This means a slew of new items and in-game cosmetics. Notably, this track has rewards with Dragon and Underfel themes. There are also 13 hero skins to add to one's collection.

More Hearthstone Battlegrounds Echoes of Un'Goro cards

As for more Echoes of Un'Goro cards and details, there will be lots of reveals starting July 24 prior to patch 33.2's release date of Aug. 5. There will also be a special early-access event featuring content creators on Aug. 1 starting at 9 a.m. PT for the Americas, Latin America (LATAM), and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions. Japan's version of this event will kick off on Aug. 2 at 2 a.m. PT while China's livestreams will begin at 7 a.m. PT on the same day.
