HCS Raleigh, NC Kickoff Major

The first event in Halo Infinite history will be held in Raleigh, North Carolina as 343 Industries looks to make a major splash with its kickoff event.

Halo’s first big LAN of the year comes at a pivotal time for the franchise. With recent flights receiving praise, optimism has been building in a community without a lot to hang their hat on recently.

HCS Raleigh will enforce a strict COVID-19 protocol that requires:

  • Proof of Vaccination or Negative COVID-19 PCR Test within 72 hours
  • Photo identification to access the facility
  • Masks worn inside at all times
  • All attendees and staff must report health status each day

343 plans on revealing the competitive event schedule for the rest of 2021 in the coming months, but further event dates, locations, and plans have yet to be detailed.

HCS Open Bracket & Tickets

The event will feature a typical open bracket > championship bracket-style format. Open bracket teams can sign up and compete in Raleigh on Friday for a chance to be one of four teams to join the top 16 teams in pool play. Pool play determines where you end up in the championship bracket which will be double elimination.

There will be a $5,000 Free For All (FFA) tournament on the side open to all attendees, but the format has not been confirmed.

Tickets to HCS Raleigh are available starting tomorrow for spectators, but team passes will not go on sale until November 17th. If your team qualifies for pool play, your team pass will be refunded. General admission tickets are $50, VIP tickets are $100, and team pass prices are not confirmed but will likely total $400 (based on prior events).

If you want to support your favorite partnered team and earn a 10% discount, buy a spectator ticket using their name as the discount code. These codes donate your 10% directly to the team. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the refund policy is quite robust. If for any reason they are unable to host the event or make alterations, buyers will receive a full refund.
