Meet Aino, the genius mechanic that is coming to Genshin Impact

She is a little girl with cute pink hair, but don't let her fool you. Aino is a genius inventor, and you will see more of her in Genshin Impact during version 6.0. Let's meet the next hydro character of the game!

Aino looks like an innocent girl, but she is way more than she appears to be. She is a genius and the inventor behind Ineffa, our favorite robot that was released on version 5.8. If you are taking a walk around Nasha Town, you might see Ineffa or some of Aino's inventions buying materials for her.

Outside of town, you'll find a giant metal building that smells like machine oil, metal, and krumkakes. That's Aino's house. Ineffa lives with her as her all-purpose household robot, one of the biggest inventions by Aino, who loves to create mechanical wonders for fun. However, if you don't show appreciation for Aino's work, you'll find yourself in trouble. Before asking for new creations, don't forget to leave some nice words for her!

Aino stands out for her beautiful, long pink hair and her gadget references all over her outfit. You'll find screws and all kinds of metallic accessories on her jacket, hair, shoes, and romper. That's why she is known as "Clinky-Clank Gadgets-A-Gogo." In Genshin Impact, Aino is going to be a four-star hydro character.

HoYoverse revealed Aino through drip marketing, signaling her arrival in Genshin Impact version 6.0. She will likely join the game during the first phase of the update, expected to launch on September 10, 2025. She might be coming in the same banner as Lauma since they were both revealed on the same day. However, we have to wait for the official version 6.0 live stream to confirm this information.
