Mavuika is coming to Genshin Impact as a playable character!
Genshin Impact finally posted the official reveal for the Pyro Archon, Mavuika, as a playable character through its regular drip marketing. See all the details of the Mavuika drip here.

The Mavuika reveal was released on all official Genshin Impact accounts as well as HoYoLAB.
Titled "The Brightest, Most Splendid, Most Resplendent Flame Reborn," the post has quotes from the Hexenzirkel and Varka, the Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius.
"Even in the complex tapestry of Teyvat's night sky, such a dazzling constellation is seldom seen. Its scorching radiance is as though it wants to burn a hole in the very fabric of the sky itself. When it finally becomes a shooting star streaking toward the horizon, that fire will kindle even the deepest, coldest nights into brightest day."

The first quote is by "B," said during a divination. Barbeloth, Mona's master fits this bill.
"Mavuika? Ohh! You mean the one who competed with me in the Stadium of the Sacred Flame! Hahaha, you'd think an Archon could hold their liquor better than that! Uh... what? They said I got wasted first? No freaking way, not a chance! That day, I was... uh, hang on a sec, now why did I go see the Pyro Archon that day again...?"
The next quote is from Varka, the Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius, in a conversation with Alice, Klee's mother and the founder of Hexenzirkel.
In terms of in-game aspects, the reveal tells us that Mavuika's title is "Night-Igniting Flame." Her Constellation is named "Sol Invictus," literally meaning "unconquered sun."
When will Mavuika be playable in Genshin Impact?
She becomes playable in the Genshin Impact Version 5.3 update as a limited 5-star character. This update is expected to arrive on January 1, 2025.
