Citlali is coming to Genshin Impact as a playable character!

Citlali drip marketing and reveal
The Citlali reveal was posted on official Genshin Impact social media accounts as well as HoYoLAB.
The quote included in Citlali's drip marketing was Mavuika's. In it, she alludes to "Granny Itztli"'s age (200 years!) as well as her introverted hobbies. The text continues to seemingly make fun of her lifestyle, but also gave her some space to rebut: "I'm not a hermit. I'm just above superficial rules of societal etiquette!"
As a playable character, she is a 5-star Cryo Catalyst character. Her title is "Obsidian Opalstar," and her Constellation is "Patina Anavatiaca."
If you're caught up with the Genshin Impact Natlan Story Quest, you are already well-acquainted to Citlali, or Granny Itztli as she is referred to by many. She indirectly helped the party in rescuing Kachina in the early parts of the story, then became more involved once Ororon joined the fray.

For the English voiceover, she is played by Skyler Davenport. Their previous roles include March 7th from Honkai: Star Rail, Scarlett and Norbelle from Unicorn Overlord, and Bianca from Punishing: Gray Raven.
Her Japanese voice actor is Asami Tano. She played Mitsuru Kirijo from 2014-2015 in theater appearances. Her notable roles include Akane Hino/Cure Sunny from the Pretty Cure franchise, and Sarah Kazuno from Love Live! Sunshine!!.
When will Citlali be playable in Genshin Impact?
She becomes playable in the Genshin Impact Version 5.3 update as a limited 5-star character. This update is expected to arrive on January 1, 2025.
