Genshin Impact version 5.8 stream: Primogem codes, summary

Genshin Impact version 5.8 is the final patch we're getting before Nod Krai releases, but that doesn't mean it will be boring! It's packed with the seasonal summer islands, sneak peeks of Nod Krai, and a lot more. Check out the revealed Primogem codes and the summary of the Genshin Impact version 5.8 stream.

As mentioned earlier, this is the final version before the 6.x series of patches begins. Version 5.8 continues the annual tradition of hosting a special summer event alongside a limited-time, summer-themed area.

This year, the event is "Sunspray Summer Resort," and will star some of our favorite Natlan characters (with Bennett and Venti)! Travelers will be able to harness the abilities of the resort mascot Asha to explore.

The area, called Easybreeze Holiday Resort, will be the venue for these exciting events. One thing is different in this year's iteration, though. Easybreeze Holiday Resort will be a permanent addition to the map and will remain off the west coast of Natlan even after the summer event lapses.

Version 5.8 also introduces the game's first-ever playable character from Nod Krai: Ineffa! In the story, she is a household robot made of parts sourced from various areas in Teyvat. She has missing memories and encounters the Traveler through the Flower-Feather Clan.

As a playable character, Ineffa is a 5-star Electro Polearm unit. Her main feature is enabling a new Elemental Reaction: Lunar-Charged.

This is a modified version of Electro-Charged, the reaction between Electro and Hydro. Simply being in the party allows Ineffa to proc it. Lunar-Charged spawns a thundercloud that will periodically deal Electro DMG to nearby enemies affected by both Hydro and Electro. This reaction can also crit, and its damage is based on the stats of all characters involved in the reaction.

As for her kit, it revolves around Ineffa's robot companion Birgitta. She can apply Electro even while off-field, further stressing the importance of Lunar-Charged.

Fret not, though, since the livestream confirmed that Lunar-Charged will not be an Ineffa exclusive. Future characters will also enable the reaction.

Ineffa will be featured in the first half of the patch. Her signature weapon, "Fractured Halo," will also be released at the same time.

Yelan and Bennett are getting outfits this patch! Bennett's will be available for free by playing through events, while Yelan's Fontainian outfit will be on sale for version 5.8 before it returns at full price in the following update.

Various small events that give Primogems and more rewards will also be scattered throughout the patch! This includes some combat events, mini-games, and the return of "mementos of Teyvat," the photo-centric event!
