Columbina Hyposelenia, also known as The Damselette of the Fatui Harbingers, is finally becoming playable in Genshin Impact Luna IV. Here's what we know about Columbina.
Columbina as a playable Genshin Impact character
The playable unit is officially named Columbina Hyposelenia, but the in-game UI only shows Columbina as per the Genshin Impact Luna IV livestream.
She is a 5-star Hydro Catalyst character. She enables all Lunar reactions so far, including the new Lunar-Crystallize one that requires Geo characters. The other reactions currently implemented are Lunar-Charged and Lunar-Bloom.
When (and how) to get Columbina in Genshin Impact
Columbina becomes playable once Genshin Impact Luna IV goes live. This update is scheduled for Jan. 14, 2026.
Her debut banner, "Somnias a Luna," is on the first half of the patch and will run alongside a rerun of Ineffa. Their banners are expected to run for about three weeks, ending in the first week of February.
Other new characters in Genshin Impact Luna IV
This patch also adds Zibai, a 5-star Geo Sword character from Liyue. While her humanoid form may appear novel to many, there is a big chance you've already encountered her (or know of her, at least) if you've played the Liyue parts of the game.
Despite being for Liyue, Zibai enables Lunar-Crystallize. She is the first Geo character in over a year, since she comes after Xilonen, who was released in version 5.1 last October 2024.
She is the White Horse Adeptus from Liyue's myths. Zibai's debut banner will be on the second half of Luna IV, which begins on Feb. 4.
Another new character is being introduced in the upcoming update: Illuga, a 4-star Geo Polearm unit. He belongs to the Lightkeepers in Nod-Krai, like Flins. He will be a featured 4-star character in the second half of Luna IV.
