The first season of Dragon Age Absolution is now available on Netflix, but will the show get another season?

Dragon Age: Absolution is an animated series on Netflix that's based on the Dragon Age franchise by BioWare. There are a total of six episodes in the first season, but will there be a Dragon Age: Absolution Season 2? Read on for details.

Will there be a Dragon Age: Absolution Season 2?

Netflix has not revealed any plans for Dragon Age Absolution Season 2 yet. However, the last episode of the first season ended on a cliffhanger. This has fans hoping for the possibility of another season so that Miriam and her team can continue their adventures.

Dragon Age: Absolution episodes

The first season of Dragon Age: Absolution has six episodes in total. Here are the names of the episodes and quick summaries of what happened in them. There are slight spoilers ahead.

  • A Woman Unseen: Miriam joins a mission for the Inquisition to retrieve a mysterious object.
  • The Will of the Maker: A magister wants to uncover the history of the Circulum Infinitus item and the team distracts palace guards to sneak into the vault.
  • The Serpent's Coils: Miriam and her team have to get past demons, the undead and more in order to survive.
  • Those Who Falsely Dream: An encounter with Rezaren plus a surprise discovery ruins the escape plan. The city goes on lockdown as the guards are on alert for the thieves.
  • An Altar of Fire: Hira is interrogated while Miriam and her team head back to the palace to face Rezaren and save their friend.
  • The Price of Salvation: A betrayal reveals the actual purpose of the team's mission.

As viewers wait for more information on whether or not Netflix will renew Dragon Age Absolution for another season, fans of the franchise can look forward to updates on Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. According to Gary McKay, the general manager of BioWare, the alpha milestone for the game is done. There is also an in-game cinematic of Dreadwolf that BioWare revealed over on Twitter.
