The release of EA FC 24 is upon us. When EA decided to drop the FIFA name from the title of their soccer simulation video game, some raised eyebrows but the hype for the new title has not slowed down. As every year, people are incredibly excited for the launch of the new title, leading to some wondering: When does EA FC 24 release?
There are a couple different release windows for EA FC 24 and they are dictated on which version of the game you buy. Purchasing the Ultimate Edition of EA FC 24 will gain you access to an earlier release of the game.
When does EA FC Early Access release?
Early Access for EA FC 24 is available a whole week before the main launch of the game. Early access for EA FC 24 launches on Friday, September 22, 2023. The launch time will differ depending on region and platform.
On Xbox, the game will launch at midnight regionally, meaning that users in New Zealand and Australia will get first dibs. On PlayStation and PC, the game releases at midnight Friday morning on United States Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
In order to get access to the early access of the game, players will need to purchase the Ultimate Edition of EA FC 24.
The Ultimate Edition is the most expensive version of EA FC 24 and will set users back $99.99 / £99.99. Early Access is just one of the benefits to buying the Ultimate Edition of EA FC. Other benefits include access to the Nike MADReady promotional line of items and 4600 FC Points.
It's also worth noting that EA Play Pro members will also get access to the Ultimate Edition of EA FC 24, along with additional FC Points for their extra money.

When is the full release of EA FC 24?
The full release of EA FC 24 is slated for exactly one week after the Ultimate Edition goes live. It will follow the exact same timings as the Ultimate Edition, meaning it is available on Xbox at midnight regionally and midnight EDT on all other platforms.
The Standard Edition comes with the full game of EA FC 24 and three Ultimate Team loan items, nothing special but still a little incentive to grab the game.
