Not long to wait for official details about an upcoming new Star Wars game.
Respawn, the makers of the Star Wars Jedi games, are revealing their newest Star Wars title at the upcoming Star Wars Celebration in Japan. The Star Wars convention will feature a panel with both Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment where they will show a first look at their all new game.
We don't know a lot about this game, so this will be some of the first information we have. We do know that it will be a turn-based tactics game, but beyond that not much has been made public.
Respawn are also working on a third and final Jedi game. This has been confirmed to be the final entry into the series. However, they have officially cancelled their Star Wars FPS title that was in the works. More recently they also cancelled their Star Wars Multiplayer FPS game too.

What do we know about the new Respawn Star Wars game?
The official reveal will take place on Saturday, April 19 at the Star Wars Celebration event in Japan. The panel is described as follows:
"Join Bit Reactor, along with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games, for a first look at a new Star Wars turn-based tactics game."
Otherwise, details are completely scarce. It is expected that we will see gameplay for the first time, which will give Star Wars fans an idea of what the game will look like. There has never been a turn based tactics game set in the Star Wars Universe.
The closest game might be Star Wars Empire At War, but that is a Real Time Strategy game. This latest offering from Respawn and Bit Reactor is expected to look a bit more like XCOM.

Overall, it is hugely exciting to see a brand new entry into the Star Wars Universe. Stay tuned to esports.gg for full coverage of the game when more details are shared next month.
