The Game Awards ended with a shocking moment as a random kid snuck up on stage to nominate Bill Clinton for Game of the Year.

The Game Awards 2022 was largely a success, with more World Premiers than ever before. But the night ended with a shocking arrest.

When The Game of the Year award was announced, Elden Ring's director Hayao Miyazaki, a translator, and other staff took to the stage to accept the award. But apparently, a random kid walked up behind them without being noticed.

After Miyazaki ended his emotional speech, the kid pushed through and took the mic. People watching the show live couldn't hear the first half of the kid's rant, but Game Award producers thought he was part of the Elden Ring entourage and turned it on halfway. However, people watching the stream could hear the entire thing play out.

"Hey Martin, you know real quick I want to thank everybody and say that I think I want to nominate this award to my reformed Orthodox Rabbi Bill Clinton," the stranger rambled.

Security immediately moved to the stage. It was later announced that the random kid had been arrested. It's unclear if he trespassed or had purchased a ticket. And it's also a mystery how he ended up on the stage without getting noticed.

The strange situation has already been turned into a meme and the gaming community has demanded that the rebel be freed.
