PlayStation State of Play February 2025 announcements

In terms of what else to expect, Sony's content communications manager, Tim Turi, stated that the stream features "news and updates on great games" coming to the PlayStation 5. The stream also "celebrates a creative and unique selection of exciting games from studios around the world."

In the announcement, Turi also mentioned some important details for those who wish to co-stream the event or have it in video-on-demand (VOD) archives. He stated that the broadcast might include copyrighted content, such as licensed music, that PlayStation does not control.

Therefore, while PlayStation does celebrate and welcome co-streamers and creators, licensing agreements beyond their control could affect co-streams or VOD archives.

"If you’re planning to save this broadcast as a VOD to create recap videos, or to repost clips or segments from the show, we advise omitting any copyrighted music," he advised.

That's all for now. We'll post the final list of the State of Play announcements once they're up. Therefore, stick around on esports.gg for more news and updates!
