The PlayStation State of Play broadcast will kick off on Thursday, May 30 at 3 p.m. PT and can be viewed on YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok. This is according to a blog post made by PlayStation on May 29, which also provides some details on what to expect from the broadcast.

What to expect from the May 2024 State of Play

In their post on X, PlayStation noted that fans can expect, "updates on 14 PS5 and PS VR2 titles, including a look at PlayStation Studios titles arriving later this year" in the State of Play broadcast happening on May 30.

The announcement already has fans buzzing, with speculation swirling about what could be on the horizon for the console giant.

The mention of the PS VR2 titles is especially interesting, but fans seem most excited for PlayStation studios' titles and, hopefully, more content for some classics like God of War, Kingdom Hearts, and even some hope for a Ghost of Tsushima 2.

In the end, though, Sony is holding their cards close to their chest and has given us very little to speculate on. As such, fans will inevitably have to wait until the May 30 livestream to get the full picture of what is coming next for PlayStation.

That's all we've got for now, but stay tuned for more gaming news and updates like this here at esports.gg!
