The infamous Mikasa Ackerman is coming to Assassin’s Creed Shadows… well, sort of.
Did you forget about Assassin's Creed Shadows? The popular Japanese-themed game was released back in March of 2025, but has since fallen out of the limelight. However, in an attempt to return to its glory, the game is doing a free Attack on Titan collaboration, which will be available for exactly a month to claim.
And yes, Naoe will get to dress up as Mikasa Ackerman.
New Assassin's Creed Shadows x Attack on Titan collaboration available for a month
While Assassin's Creed Shadow's ending may have been lackluster, the game released a DLC the other month that gave players a bit more content to indulge in. However, that was not the end of the game's reign, as Ubisoft has just announced a collaboration with the famous anime, Attack on Titan.

And it is available now, for free. Yes, you read both of those parts correctly.
To get the new Attack on Titan expansion, all you have to do is log in to the game and download it, but it is only available for a month. After December 22, 2025, gamers will not be able to claim the Attack on Titan expansion in Shadows, so make sure you grab it now.
So, what does the new expansion entail?
Everything in new expansion, featuring Mikasa Ackerman and more
Obviously, the biggest part of this new expansion is the fact that players get to cosplay as Mikasa Ackerman, as the new outfit is officially a part of the game. Featuring Mikasa's Scout Regiment style, from the first three seasons of the show, the game includes her jacket, scarf and more.

Not only do you get to dress up as Mikasa, though, but the game also includes a new story mission, which seems to take players into the famous crystal cavern from season three of the show, where Historia almost eats Eren (or from season four, when we find out about Eren's involvement).
Oh yeah, and ODM gear will be included, too.
The trailer even gives us a look at a crystallized version of Eren's Titan, which is unclear whether that will actually be in the game or is just a fun addition to the trailer.
Either way, the new Attack on Titan collaboration in Assassin's Creed Shadows should almost certainly bring a few fans back as they wait patiently for the (unannounced) Black Flag remake.
