Is G Fuel shutting down? The company made a statement today on Twitter that leads people to believe so.
If you are a part of the gaming and streaming scene, you have more than likely heard of G Fuel. The popular energy drink company has been around for quite some time, sponsoring some of the biggest streamers and esports events. However, after 21 years, it looks as if G Fuel may be shutting down due to a post on their Twitter.
Is G Fuel shutting down?
So, is G Fuel shutting down? Well, their Twitter post certainly makes it seem so.
"After years of shaking things up, fueling the grind and rewriting the rules, it's the end of an era," said G Fuel on Twitter. "We've had the honor of being there through the late nights, the big wins, the impossible comebacks and the unforgettable moments that made G Fuel more than just energy."

G Fuel has been a staple among gamers, as you can buy their energy powder or canned drinks just about anywhere now.
"It's been an incredible journey being able to build alongside creators, gamers, streamers and a community that became family. Every tub cracked, every shaker raised, every memory made... we've felt the love every step of the way."
The company then concluded their post with one last statement.
"So, to everyone who's been a part of it, thank you, we love you. Logging out."
So, obviously, this would seem that the company is shutting down, correct? Many don't believe so, however, due to the sheer popularity of G Fuel.

What does this mean for the future?
While this could be some sort of bait, as many companies love doing this, it would seem as if G Fuel really is shutting down. The company does not seem like one to rage-bait the community, as many people think they are.

This would mean countless sponsorships are officially ending, as the energy drink has been representing gamers for years now, making themselves one of the biggest names in gaming.
There is now an open slot for an energy drink to hit the top of the gaming market, with the opportunity to pick up the streamers that are now losing their G Fuel sponsorship. Will it be Ghost? Red Bull? Only time will tell.
